Multi-platinum artist Mariah Carey is set to perform her new single “I’ll Be Lovin’ You Long Time” at TEEN CHOICE 2008. Hosted by Miley Cyrus, TEEN CHOICE celebrates the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion. The coolest stars will receive coveted Teen Choice surfboard awards in categories such as Choice Male Hottie and Choice Hook-Up when TEEN CHOICE 2008 airs Monday, Aug. 4 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day for their favorite TEEN CHOICE 2008 nominees at www.TeenChoiceAwards.com

 Newlywed MARIAH CAREY is set to follow in the footsteps of CELINE DION, CHER and SIR ELTON JOHN by headlining a spectacular Las Vegas residency.
Sources claim a $100 million (GBP50 million) three-year offer has been laid down by bosses of the Planet Hollywood Resort + Casino for the pop superstar to perform nightly.
An insider tells America’s Star Magazine, “Mariah is one of the most popular performers around. She could easily become the Queen of the Las Vegas strip.”
Meanwhile, Carey is to make her first public stage performance as Mrs. Nick Cannon outside the home of The Oscar’s.
The pop superstar will play a free 35-minute summer (08) concert at the Hollywood + Highland shopping complex on 31 July (08).

 Lil Wayne has partnered with Milestone Brands and French grower Voirin-Jumeh, to create his own brand of champagne.

Halo Champagne, which Wayne introduced to the world in the video for his chart topping hit “Lollipop,” is set to launch later this year.

“I’m excited about this venture with Milestone Brands,” Lil Wayne told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “Champagne is for celebrating. There are so many different business opportunities…I want to take advantage of it all. I’m ready to put my foot in a new door.”

Halo Champagne consists of four distinctive sub-brands, each with its own flavor.

Halo Brut, contains various flavors and a citrus finish, with hints of lemon cream and roasted hazelnut.

Halo Brut Vintage features a classic, creamy consistency and a stronger mix of lemon blossoms and almonds.

Halo Rose, a combination of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, offers an aroma of pomegranate, crushed raspberries, and mint.

Finally, Halo Pinnacle is a fruity Chardonnay blend, capped off by hints of lime-tree flower and roasted hazelnuts.

Wayne’s French partner, Voirin-Jumeh is recognized as one of the finest makers of Chardonnay-based champagne.

The company, based in the Grand Cru Village of Cramant in Northeast France, has been known traditionally for artisanal champagne making.

In addition to his new title of “champagne maker,” Lil Wayne is putting the finishing touches on his first feature film appearance, alongside Forrest Whitaker and Isaiah Washington in Hurricane Season.

The story focuses on a high school basketball coach’s influence on a group of players in the post-Katrina New Orleans area.

The movie also stars Jackie Long, Taraji P. Henson, and Bow Wow.

Hey! I know there are mad car washes goin on every weekend! From fund raising to helpin out a loved ones family. I wish I could get everyones location out on the air but there really is quite a few every weekend all around the Valley. So I do my best when I’m on during my Saturday shifts.
